The three most important questions to take control of your life today

“There is absolutely nothing in this Universe to be guarded against. You exists as beings that vibrate in a place of absolute well-being. Tell yourself that again and again. Know it. Feel it. Allow it.
Be the evidence of it. Be the evidence of it for others, so that they will know it a little more and trust it a little more.
Let your life be the one life that is not out of control, so that you can give one other person the reason to believe that all can be well.”

Magic Monday is the day when you set your intentions for your week. It is the day when you connect to your unique powers of being the creator of your life by deciding what you want to create this week and where you’ll put your focus on, because as the wise people say: “where your attention goes, energy flows”

When you identify what you want and set your intentions to create that, you are setting yourself up for success. You are prepaving your day, you are directing your focus and your energy towards what you want. You are choosing to be the deliberate creator of today, of the week ahead, and of your life rather than life being in control of you.

Today I want to share with you the three most important questions you can ask yourself when setting your intentions for this week. If you do this today and if you remember to ask yourself these questions at any time throughout your week, especially when you are experiencing something that you don’t want, you’ll notice how you feel more in control and better yet, how that feeling inside begins to reflect in your experiences outside.

1. What do I want to create?

Take a look at your calendar, the list of activities, meetings, children play dates, projects you are working on, etc. and ask yourself what you want to create this week. Choose the three most important things that you want to achieve by the end of the week and write them down like this:

  • I intend to finish - insert a project you are working on -
  • I intend to have 2 new clients this week
  • I intend to create a Friday Family Game Night

Invest a few minutes reflecting on what you can do to make that happen, if there is anything you need like help from others for example, and if you can see any obstacles on your way that could stop you from making that happen.

By asking yourself what you want you are being a deliberate creator, by reflecting on what you can do and thinking of possible obstacles you begin to direct your focus towards solutions and you’ll be able to identify other things that you might need to ask for or focus.  By saying “I intend to… instead of I have to or I should, you are being easy on yourself, you’ll feel more confident, your energy will be open and you’ll be in a space of allowing magic to happen.

“You are a creator by nature and your job is to identify what you want so that you can deliberately create it”

2. Why do I want to create this?

Asking why kick starts the good energy and begins to add more power to the creative process because here you want to be excited about what you want and allow yourself all the reasons why you believe you deserve it. It is also a great way to begin being more aware and make notes of the small voices in your head that might tell you why you don’t deserve it or why you can’t make it happen.

So you want to say something like this:

I intend to create a Friday Family Game Night because I’ve been thinking about this for a long while now and, I feel super excited about having this as a tradition with my children.

I intend to have 2 new clients this week because I have the space in my calendar, because 2 of my current clients are finishing their program this week and because I could add more money to the savings for our trip to Costa Rica in December.

I intend to finish “abc” project because our team is super close to the deadline and I just want to get this done and out of the way.

3. How do I want to feel? or What are the feelings I expect to receive/experience?

When being a deliberate creator it is very important to know what you want and be very specific about what you want to experience in your life. But the real magic begins to happen when your energy is aligned to the energy of your desires. In other words, magic happens when you feel like you want to feel when you get what you want.

Think about it, everything and anything that you might be wanting right now, you want it because you believe it will make you feel a certain way. Everything is energy and you attract to you the people, things and circumstances that match the energy that you are sending out at any given moment.

At the end is not really about the specific thing that you want, but about the feeling that you are expecting to receive.

So after asking what you want, why you want it you want to find that feeling and you want to commit yourself to do something every day that is going to make you feel that way.  And when you are thinking about what you want, working on what you want, talking about what you want to others, you want to feel that feeling all the way through.

“It’s not your work to make anything happen. It’s your work to dream it and let it happen. In your joy, you create something, and then you maintain your vibrational harmony with it, and the Universe must find a way to bring it about.”
— Abraham

I intend to create a Friday Family Game Night because I’ve been thinking about this for a long while now and, I feel super excited about having this as a tradition with my children. I want to feel connected and silly with my children, I want us to laugh and play, and eat pop-corn and have a great time. I want to feel like all is good and just enjoy without having any expectations from them and I want to feel relaxed and don’t think about the time and go to bed whenever we feel like it, easy, tired, and happy.

With love and gratitude
