New Moon Reflections: Accepting the present as it is and not as you wish it was.

Intentions for the future, accepting the present as it is, and ALWAYS choosing love rather than fear.

"When you struggle against this moment, you're actually struggling against the entire universe. Instead, you can make the decision that today you will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment.

This means that your acceptance of this moment is total and complete. You accept things as they are, not as you wish they were in this moment."

- Deepak Chopra - 7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The New Moon is one of my favorite days of the month and one that I always look forward too.

It is said that the New Moon carries with her the energy of new beginnings and possibility, and therefore it is a perfect time to plant new seeds of desires and start new projects.

Today I am thinking about how the end of something is also the beginning of something new.

I am thinking about how much I would like this moment to be different than what it is and reminding myself that there is great love, wisdom, lessons to learn and opportunities to grow and become a better person in every moment.

I am thinking that every minute that I wish the moment was different than what it is, I might be missing on all of the above.

As some wise people say:

If you cry because the sun has gone out of your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars.

And then I also think about CONTRAST and that every single thing that we experience that we "don't like or want" is an incredible opportunity to get more clear on what we really want.

Therefore I want to remind myself that CONTRAST is a good thing, that even if I can't see the sun, it is always there behind the grey clouds and the rain.

I also want to remind myself that long time I chose to believe that:

β€œAll human actions are motivated at their deepest level by two emotions--fear or love. In truth there are only two emotions--only two words in the language of the soul....

Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear. Fear grasps, love lets go. Fear rankles, love soothes. Fear attacks, love amends.”

Last but not least I want to remind myself that I have also promised myself to ALWAYS CHOOSE LOVE.

What about you? What do you choose?

So what do you really want, and what are you willing to accept and let go in order to allow it into your life?

With love, gratitude & magnetic success kisses
